This is probably the most beautiful movie I’ve ever watched in my life! If you haven’t see it… you should!
I believe in music the way some people believe in fairy tales (August Rush).
It the story about a young musical genius, Evan Taylor who grows up in an orphanage. He has the amazing ability to “hear” music. As he goes about daily life, the every day things like the wind blowing and the rain falling to him are a beautiful melody. He’s convinced that his parents are still alive, that they are looking for him, and that “the music” will lead him to them. Leaving the orphanage he embarks on a journey where he learns how to play instruments and take what he hears in his head and make it reality. It’s a beautiful musical fairy tail that everyone needs to watch, calling us to take our eyes off of ourselves so that we can see and hear the amazing things that happen around us:
The music is all around you, all you have to do is listen.
As you can imagine, the soundtrack is spectacular! For someone like me who loves music, this movie stirs your very soul. What a line…
You know what music is? God’s little reminder that there’s something else besides us in this universe; harmonic connection between all living beings, every where, even the stars.

I LOVED THIS MOVIE TOO! I had to buy it when it came out! One of my absolute favorites.
This movie was great, I am starting to understand how music is a big part of your life.
